This patient desired to undergo upper and lower lid cosmetic surgery. She wished to have her lower lid bags removed and also the excess skin removed in both upper and lower lids. An upper and lower lid blepharoplasty was performed. Skin was removed in the upper lids. Fat pockets were partially removed but then repositioned to help improve her lower rim hollows. A TCA 30% chemical peel was then applied to her lower lids.

This patient desired to have his lower lid bags (i.e. fat pockets)removed. He had very prominent lower lid fat pockets which have progressively worsened over the past several years. A lower lid blepharoplasty was performed to remove some of the excess fat pockets while repositioning some of his fat to help preserve his volume loss along his midface. All this was performed internally with no open skin incision using a transconjunctival approach. Dr. Zoumalan terms this a “volume preservation lower lid blepharoplasty.” He also had an upper lid blepharoplasty to help remove some of his excess skin in his upper lids.

The patient desired to undergo upper and lower lid cosmetic blepharoplasty to improve her lower lid bags and also to remove her excess skin in her upper lids. An upper lid blepharoplasty was performed to help remove her excess upper lid skin. A lower lid blepharoplasty (with fat repositioning) was performed to improve her lower lid “bags.” The “bags” are actually prominent lower lid fat pockets. Note the natural looking results. Photos were taken five months after surgery.

The patient desired to remove his excess bags under his eyes. A minimally invasive procedure was performed to remove his lower lid bags (fat pockets) through a non visible incision (transconjunctival incision). Some of the fat was in excess was repositioned to help prevent any hollowing after surgery. A chemical peel was applied at the end of the surgery No skin was removed from his lower lids. He also underwent an upper lid blepharoplasty and ptosis (droopy eyelid) repair.

This patient had excess skin and fat pockets in both upper and lower lids. She wished to have them removed and to look more youthful. Her excess skin in her upper lids was actually resulting in difficulty seeing as well. She underwent and upper lid blepharoplasty and ptosis repair and a lower lid blepharoplasty. Excess skin was trimmed in her lower lids as well. This photo was taken 1 year after surgery. Note her improved appearance while looking her natural self.
